About Chengmo Yang

Prof. Yang’s research interests lie in the broad areas of embedded systems, design automation, and computer architecture, with a particular focus on improving security, reliability, non-volatility, and energy efficiency of embedded systems, cyber physical systems (CPS), and Internet-of-Things (IoT). She has authored over 70 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.

Prof. Yang received the National Science Foundation Career Award in 2013. She has one best paper award and four best paper nominations. She is serving as the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Computer Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (TCAD) and the associate editor of ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (TODAES). She is also serving as the diversity & inclusion representative of IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) to IEEE Initiative/Committees.
