Pair Your Passions

Today’s biggest issues call for crossing boundaries. And that’s exactly what you’ll do at the University of Delaware.

Think of UD’s campus—The Green, the gym, the student centers, residence and dining halls—as a blank page on which to write your college story exactly as you wish. You’ll find plenty of ways to further your talents or try out new interests. New friends will enter your story, and you will find that Blue Hens are friends for life.

On campus, a range of creativity and interests are waiting to be explored everywhere you turn. Sometimes the surprises are big. Sometimes small. UD is the place to experience those moments that will forever define you.

GRADUATING TO GREATNESS

Whether through internships, connections through the Career Center, faculty and alumni, or by the dedication and perseverance learned at UD, our students succeed. Upon graduation, you’ll take your first step off campus with the confidence that your degree is backed up with a tradition of excellence more than 275 years in the making.

THE PROOF IS IN OUR GRADUATES

UD’s job and career placement rates have historically been well above the national average, according to data from the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Visit Career Outcomes

The median annual wage for computer and information technology occupations was $91,250 in 2020, which is higher than the median annual wage for all other occupations.2

Total employment for computer and information systems managers is projected to grow 10% from 2019 to 2029, which is much faster than the average for all other occupations.1

Employment growth in cybersecurity careers is driven by the need to bolster cybersecurity used by businesses. Industries will also need to implement more robust security policies as cyber threats increase.1
