Professor Xiang-Gen Xia has been appointed Charles Black Evans Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Professor Xia has had outstanding research contributions in Signal Processing and Communications including radar imaging of moving targets, coding and modulation for MIMO and cooperative systems, and sensor networks. His inaugural lecture, "Sunzi Theorem and Signal Processing," is scheduled for February 13, 2008 at 4:00 PM in Sharp Lab/Room 130.
