2009 Allan P. Colburn Prize Awarded to Charan Masarapu
Charan Masarapu received the 2009 Allan P. Colburn Prize. This prize is awarded for the best Ph.D. Dissertation in the Mathematical Sciences and Engineering programs. Charan was admitted to the University of Delaware in the Spring of 2007 and worked under Professor Dennis Prather in Electrical & Computer Engineering and under Professor Bingqing Wei in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. Degree in January 2009 and his dissertation is titled, Carbon Nanotubes: Synthesis, Properties and Applications in Modern Electronic Devices. Charan is currently a post doc working under the direction of Dr. Bingqing Wei.
