Destination: 98 Abilities Expo & Baltimore Harbor Place

Time: The bus will leave early Saturday morning and return late in the evening. Approximate itinerary is listed below.

We will attend the Abilities Expo in the morning and then spend the afternoon at the Baltimore Harbor Place.

The abilities expo provides people with an interest in disability issues a wonderful opportunity to connect with manufacturers, organizations, and employers. Over 200 Exhibitors will be participating. A group of national manufacturers, distributors, local dealers, private service agencies, organizations of and for people with disabilities, employers of the disabled, government agencies, support organizations, publications, hospitals, and rehab centers will be exhibiting, selling vans, clothing, lifts, wheelchairs, toys, 3-wheel scooters, computers and software, sports and exercise equipment, daily living aids, personal care products, books and publications. BALTIMORE HARBOR PLACE ...

Choose to spend the afternoon how you wish... The following are some ideas:

• The National Aquarium www.aqua.org. We would need reservations (wait time can be 2 hrs) $14.00 - we may be eligible for some discounts student/group etc...
       hours 10 - 5 pm
 
• The Maryland Science Center www.thebmi.org. $ 9.75 - we may be eligible for some discounts  student/group etc...
       hours 10 - 6pm (may be extended)
 
• Taste of Baltimore This takes place in Camden Yards (where the orioles play). It costs 7.00 to get in. Restaurants from all over Baltimore participate and I imagine they sell the food. They say it is accessible.
